Designing Helpful Hints Without Solving the Game
A good hint system should reduce frustration without taking the puzzle away from the player.
In Arrow Mega Cash, hints point attention toward the next movable jellyfish while preserving the player's final decision. The goal is to keep the level readable, not to automate the solution.
- Hints should appear where players naturally look after a failed attempt.
- Visual feedback should explain why an object can or cannot move.
- Boost rewards should support skillful play instead of replacing it.
